Electronic Network Cash Tellers, Inc. (ENCASH) held its Partners Update last July 10, 2015. In spite of the impending typhoon,around sixty-seven presidents, officers and employees of forty Partner Rural Banks, Cooperatives and other institutions braved the strong winds and rain to converge at the Asian Institute of Management Conference Center in Legaspi Village, Makati. Delegates came from as far as Zamboanga all the way to Apayao.
Entitled "The Challenge of Change", the discussions ranged from corporate updates provided by ENCASH CEO Eric Severino, Sales and Marketing Director Marga Estebanlar, and Operations Director Jose Maria Valdes. ENCASH Sales Manager Odry Cellan tackled the issue of the different ways to promote the ATM. Operations Manager Angelo Doroja discussed ATM Availability, while Business Analytics' Mario Guidote talked about the partial results of the Site Audit being conducted by ENCASH in its partner sites.
Mr. Benjamin Castillo, MegaLink President, was the keynote speaker who spoke about the consolidation of MegaLink and BancNet and its impact to ENCASH's partners. By tying up the changes in the industry with the theme, he presented a compelling case about the Philippine ATM industry that is in the throes of a rebirth.
Meanwhile, ENCASH invited ProSec's Learning and Development Director Kathleen Zeta to provide discussions and exercises on the theme. Sixteen Partners were awarded for their compliance to the Site Evaluation requirements. They were awarded certificates of recognition and Rudy Project watches. As per the suggestion of several partners, ENCASH will consider holding the next Partners Update during the summer to enable its Partners to participate without the threat of typhoons.
