RB La Paz and ENCASH Christmas Party for Indigent Pupils and Children
“Gabay Buhay Program” of the Rural Bank of La Paz aims to reach out to the different sectors of society in the municipality of La Paz, Tarlac. Akbay Aral is one of the projects under this program. Through this project, the Rural Bank of La Paz, in its own little way, would like to extend additional assistance to indigent Grade 1 pupils (two from every barangay elementary public school of the municipality of La Paz; one (1) boy and one (1) girl) who are in dire need of support.
In the midst of their poverty, the Rural Bank of La Paz, through its Akbay Aral project, will provide these students with some educational items, tools and learning materials as well as some items for their personal hygiene.This is a yearly activity aimed to address the Social Corporate Responsibility commitment of the Rural Bank of La Paz, Inc., that is usually celebrated during its anniversary in July.In the month of December of the same school year, under the Akbay Aral-Pamaskong Alay program, the same pupils are invited to a Christmas Party to experience what it is like to have a Merry Christmas.
Previously, ENCASH had been the bank’s partner in July of 2014 during an Akbay Aral project. The company generously provided school supplies for the 42 pupils. This year, on December 3, 2016, ENCASH once again partnered with the Rural Bank of La Paz and provided Christmas bags containing cookies, candies, chocolate drinks, juice, noodles, sandwich spread, etc. worth P500 each for the 42 pupils.
